The city’s transportation department is giving out a $5 credit for up to 30 minutes of electric bike riding and usage fees, according to a news release. In most of Divvy’s service areas, where there is greater distance between bike stations, electric bike rentals will cost the same as traditional rentals. In the areas with many bike stations, electric bikes will have an additional fee per minute, according to officials. Divvy annual membership fees will remain the same.
