YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown City School District has added Friday (Sept. 4) for device distribution for families that couldn’t pick up their students’ computers earlier this week.
“We want to make sure we provide every opportunity for scholars to be ready to go when remote instruction begins Sept. 8,” CEO Justin Jennings said in a news release. “To do that, we’ve added Friday as another device distribution day. Parents/guardians who couldn’t make it to device distribution Monday or Tuesday will be able to pick up their scholars’ devices between 8 a.m. and noon this Friday, Sept. 4, at their scholars’ schools.”
The additional day also will ensure parents and guardians who submitted their requests later will be able to collect their students’ devices before remote instruction begins, according to the release.
