We talk about the great introduction of electric cars, pickup trucks, semitrucks and now airplanes (”Ohio’s manufacturing can help U.S. meet its electric vehicle goals,” Dec. 16). We’re manufacturing these at great speed. It’s all fantastic and we’re reducing pollution. Wait, are we?
What I haven’t heard about is the pollution created relative to making the electricity for these electric vehicles. Specifically, where is that electricity coming from? It’s got to be coming from somewhere, and we will be requiring more and more as we make more vehicles. Just something to think about.
