The Newaygo County Prosecutor’s Office has filed juvenile charges against the teen who allegedly brought explosive devices to Newaygo High School back in March.
The 16-year-old is charged with manufacturing and possession of a Molotov cocktail or similar device. The student is also charged with possession of a weapon in a weapon-free school zone.
The teen brought the device to school on March 8, and along with four other students and a teacher, was injured when the device exploded.
The teen’s father is also charged with state and federal crimes related to the incident.
